Palm House Kew Gardens

If you missed my post about Kew Gardens, check it out here.

While admiring the beautiful conservatory, palm trees, exotic plants and flowers, I was dripping with sweat and feeling lightheaded. It wasn’t only because it was very humid inside but also because I have a fear of heights, especially with wobbly, gappy floor and stairs where my thoughts go wild with the possibilities of falling off or the floor collapsing! There was a higher floor in Palm House with two pretty spiral stairs. I didn’t want to miss out so I mustered up my courage to go up there. Even though I was shaking like a leaf, I came down feeling very pleased with myself.

I am also pleased how my photos turned out as I got a bit worried when the weather got quite overcast around the time I went inside. If you haven’t been there, I definitely recommend you to visit Palm House as well as the rest of Kew Gardens if you have a penchant for anything nature and greenery like me!

If you enjoy my illustrations, please consider supporting what I do!
